I am a nonpartisan candidate for the 53rd Congressional district of California who is not bound by party politics. I will happily work with people from all parties (or no party) who have sensible ideas.
We ALL want a government that:
- is accountable to the people. I will lead by example.
- is open and transparent. I am leading by example.
- is less partisan. I am leading by example.
This website will contain some ideas on how we plan to achieve these goals.
I have worked for Fortune 100 firms like United Parcel Service and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, to small privately held companies, to start-ups. I have held positions from cashier and loader, to General Manager, Founder, and Co-owner in industries such as finance, IT, software, manufacturing and more. These experiences give me a broad grasp of our economy.
The proud son of a Naval Officer and Elementary School Teacher, I came to San Diego in 1978. I attended Fletcher Hills Elementary and Parkway Junior High. I graduated from Grossmont High, Grossmont College and San Diego State University with a Communication degree. I have lived in the communities of Fletcher Hills, North Park, Mission Valley, La Mesa, and Spring Valley.
My community involvement began in earnest in 2002 when I formed a networking organization called Campbell Networks. We eventually helped over 80,000 San Diegans connect with organizations they shared interests with in professional, social, cultural, charitable and civic endeavors.
I ask you to JOIN me in a sensible approach to our nation’s problems. With your help, we can all accomplish more.
